Jeff hace de la protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente una alta prioridad y trabaja con pasi\u00f3n para obtener fondos federales para proyectos que preservan las hermosas tierras y la vida silvestre de Oreg\u00f3n y mejoran el acceso a la recreaci\u00f3n.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var( --e-global-color-secondary );\">En 2018, Jeff ayud\u00f3 a obtener tres subvenciones importantes de la Agencia de Protecci\u00f3n Ambiental (EPA) para proyectos en Oreg\u00f3n. La tribu Burns-Paiute recibi\u00f3 $215,000 en dinero federal para un proyecto de un a\u00f1o destinado a aumentar la sostenibilidad bajo el Proyecto de Asistencia General y la Ley de Agua Clara. Adem\u00e1s, se entregaron $69,525 al Consejo de Gobiernos de Lane para su proyecto de mejora de la planificaci\u00f3n local de humedales.
