Environmental Protection Agency\u2019s Clean School Bus Program<\/a>, which is allocating $5 billion to schools across the country to help schools make the move towards electric bus fleets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u201cMaking the switch to cleaner, greener school buses is good for our children\u2019s health and good for our environment,\u201d\u00a0Rep. Andrea Salinas said in a statement.\u00a0\u201cThat\u2019s why I\u2019m excited to announce Oregon\u2019s Sixth District will be receiving millions of dollars in Clean School Bus Awards, funding that will help the cities of Amity, McMinnville, Dayton, and Willamina purchase electric and low-emissions school buses. I\u2019m grateful to the Biden Administration and the EPA for investing in Oregon\u2019s future, and I look forward to seeing these dollars put to good use in our communities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
