MERKLEY SAYS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SALEM, Ore. &#8212;&nbsp;The American rescue plan signed by President Joe Biden will help millions receive COVID-19 relief.<\/p>\n<p>Senator Jeff Merkley said the plan is another step in the right direction as cases begin to drop in Oregon and vaccination quantities continue to increase.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;After a year in which everything suddenly came to a halt, we finally are seeing a light at the end of this long dark COVID-19 tunnel,&#8221; Merkley said.<\/p>\n<p>He also said this relief package is a great example of what happens when regular citizens are made the priority.<\/p>\n<p>There are plenty of financial incentives included in the bill.
