La crisis clim\u00e1tica est\u00e1 incendiando e inundando hogares y negocios. Le est\u00e1 quitando el sustento y la forma de vida a las personas que dependen de bosques, tierras de cultivo, oc\u00e9anos y r\u00edos saludables. Est\u00e1 socavando nuestra seguridad nacional y nuestra futura prosperidad e impulsando la propagaci\u00f3n de par\u00e1sitos y enfermedades.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSimplemente no podemos darnos el lujo de construir una infraestructura que atrapar\u00e1 m\u00e1s contaminaci\u00f3n y empeorar\u00e1 esta crisis en las pr\u00f3ximas d\u00e9cadas. Mi padre era maquinista sindical y aprecio la importancia de los trabajos en un proyecto como Keystone XL. No hay escasez de trabajo de construcci\u00f3n para hacer. La infraestructura de Estados Unidos est\u00e1 fallando y sufre a\u00f1os de falta de inversi\u00f3n y negligencia.
