Actualmente, empresas de todo el mundo poseen billones de d\u00f3lares en \u201cactivos\u201d riesgosos relacionados con los combustibles f\u00f3siles (inversiones similares en tama\u00f1o a la burbuja de las hipotecas de alto riesgo que desat\u00f3 la Gran Recesi\u00f3n en 2007) que representan una amenaza inminente para la econom\u00eda estadounidense y global. "La forma en que invertimos nuestro dinero refleja nuestros valores hoy e impulsar\u00e1 nuestro futuro ma\u00f1ana". dijo Merkley. <\/b>\u201cLas inversiones en combustibles f\u00f3siles desempe\u00f1an un papel clave en la aceleraci\u00f3n del caos clim\u00e1tico, que contin\u00faa descontrol\u00e1ndose cada vez m\u00e1s y cobr\u00e1ndose vidas y medios de subsistencia en el proceso.
