\u201cLa confirmaci\u00f3n de hoy de David Bernhardt representa lo peor de la corrupci\u00f3n en DC. La idea de que un cabildero del petr\u00f3leo y el gas ser\u00eda puesto a cargo de las tierras p\u00fablicas y los recursos naturales de nuestra naci\u00f3n es como un chiste de mal gusto de la era de los barones ladrones.<\/p>\n

\u201cComo lo ha demostrado el mandato \u00e9ticamente cuestionable de Bernhardt en el Interior hasta la fecha, puede haber cambiado la ubicaci\u00f3n de su oficina desde su trabajo como cabildero, pero no ha cambiado su prop\u00f3sito fundamental. Al parecer, todav\u00eda considera que su misi\u00f3n principal es ayudar a que los intereses especiales del petr\u00f3leo y el gas se desarrollen y se beneficien de la extracci\u00f3n de combustibles f\u00f3siles de la manera m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida y barata posible, sin importar el costo para la salud p\u00fablica, el medio ambiente o los contribuyentes.
