Washington DC<\/i><\/b> \u2013 Los senadores estadounidenses de Oreg\u00f3n, Ron Wyden y Jeff Merkley, se unieron hoy a sus colegas para pedir al Inspector General del Departamento del Interior que investigue la interferencia pol\u00edtica en la investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica o las comunicaciones en el Departamento.<\/p>\n

\u201cEn abril de este a\u00f1o surgieron noticias que alegaban interferencia pol\u00edtica con un informe del Servicio de Parques Nacionales sobre el aumento del nivel del mar. En respuesta a esa noticia, varios de nosotros escribimos una carta solicitando que se abriera una investigaci\u00f3n sobre el asunto.<\/b>\u201d, escribieron los senadores a la inspectora general Mary Kendall. \u201cSi bien el informe final sobre el aumento del nivel del mar del NPS mantuvo la ciencia incluida originalmente, no tenemos ninguna raz\u00f3n para creer que cesar\u00e1n los ataques a la ciencia y la presi\u00f3n por parte de personas designadas pol\u00edticas para alterar la ciencia para que se ajuste a la narrativa de la administraci\u00f3n.<\/b>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
