UU. afirmar\u00e1 su prohibici\u00f3n de la marihuana medicinal.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cEl anuncio de hoy de la DEA es una gran decepci\u00f3n para las personas en las 27 jurisdicciones de todo el pa\u00eds que han legalizado la marihuana medicinal y en el creciente n\u00famero de estados que est\u00e1n legalizando el uso recreativo de la marihuana. Es contraproducente que mientras millones de votantes y legislaturas de todo el pa\u00eds toman medidas para permitir y regular el uso de la marihuana, el gobierno federal est\u00e1 redoblando su arcaica prohibici\u00f3n y contin\u00faa perpetuando un statu quo insostenible.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cExisten enormes obst\u00e1culos que enfrentan las empresas legales de marihuana en estados como Oreg\u00f3n debido a la reticencia de la DEA a cambiar. Actualmente, las empresas de marihuana que operan bajo las leyes estatales que han legalizado el uso medicinal o recreativo han tenido dificultades para acceder al sistema bancario porque los bancos y las cooperativas de cr\u00e9dito que les brindan servicios pueden ser sancionados o cerrados seg\u00fan la ley federal. Sin la capacidad de acceder a cuentas bancarias, aceptar tarjetas de cr\u00e9dito o escribir cheques, las empresas deben operar utilizando cantidades peligrosamente grandes de efectivo. Solo en Oreg\u00f3n, se estima que el mercado de la marihuana podr\u00eda generar cerca de 500 millones de d\u00f3lares en ingresos, todo en efectivo, durante sus primeros 14 meses de ventas legales.
