\u201cSoy producto de las escuelas p\u00fablicas y mis hijos fueron a la misma escuela secundaria de clase trabajadora que yo asist\u00ed a\u00f1os antes. He visto de primera mano tanto las oportunidades que una buena educaci\u00f3n puede crear como tambi\u00e9n las tensiones y tensiones en las escuelas de hoy: clases m\u00e1s grandes, actividades extracurriculares limitadas, p\u00e9rdida de programas art\u00edsticos, etc. La reforma educativa est\u00e1 muy retrasada y me complace que el Senado haya aprobado un proyecto de ley para mejorar nuestras escuelas. Para liberar toda la capacidad de nuestra naci\u00f3n, las escuelas deben preparar a nuestros j\u00f3venes para el \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n

\u201cLa Ley Every Child Achieves (ECAA) es un importante paso adelante. Eliminar\u00eda el enfoque \u00fanico para todos, ayudar\u00eda a reducir el uso excesivo de pruebas de alto riesgo y proporcionar\u00eda m\u00e1s flexibilidad en los requisitos educativos para servir mejor a los estudiantes.<\/p>\n

\u201cCuando el proyecto de ley se presente ante el comit\u00e9 conferencia, debemos trabajar para mejorarlo para que todos los ni\u00f1os, particularmente aquellos en mayor riesgo, puedan recibir la educaci\u00f3n que merecen. Esto significa fortalecer las medidas de rendici\u00f3n de cuentas dentro del proyecto de ley y exigir a los estados que identifiquen y apoyen a las escuelas que necesitan asistencia adicional para atender a sus estudiantes m\u00e1s vulnerables. Al hacerlo, podemos ayudar a cerrar la brecha de rendimiento y garantizar que todos nuestros estudiantes tengan una oportunidad justa para alcanzar su m\u00e1ximo potencial\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
