\n\u201cCon este anuncio, el arco de la historia se inclina un poco m\u00e1s hacia la justicia. La discriminaci\u00f3n simplemente no tiene cabida en los lugares de trabajo estadounidenses. Esta orden ejecutiva permitir\u00e1 que millones m\u00e1s de estadounidenses vayan a trabajar con el derecho de realizar su trabajo sin acoso ni discriminaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
\u201cLa mayor\u00eda de los estadounidenses no saben que en muchos estados todav\u00eda es legal despedir a alguien por su orientaci\u00f3n sexual o identidad de g\u00e9nero. Esto se debe a que no s\u00f3lo desaf\u00eda el sentido com\u00fan, sino que va totalmente en contra de qui\u00e9nes somos como naci\u00f3n. No m\u00e1s excusas. Ya es hora de que el presidente Boehner permita que ENDA tenga una votaci\u00f3n en la C\u00e1mara. Merkley ha estado instando p\u00fablica y privadamente a la Casa Blanca a promulgar la orden ejecutiva que proh\u00edbe la discriminaci\u00f3n por parte de contratistas federales durante varios a\u00f1os.
