El Senador Merkley tambi\u00e9n aprovech\u00f3 la oportunidad para invitar al Portavoz Boehner a Oreg\u00f3n para ver qu\u00e9 tan bien est\u00e1 funcionando la ley contra la discriminaci\u00f3n de Oreg\u00f3n y c\u00f3mo eliminar la discriminaci\u00f3n es bueno para los negocios.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cEsta semana, el Senado dio un gran paso hacia la igualdad y la libertad y es hora de que la C\u00e1mara de Representantes tome la iniciativa\u201d, dijo Merkley. \u201cDe hecho, dado que el presidente Boehner parece estar confundido acerca de c\u00f3mo la igualdad afecta los lugares de trabajo, lo invito a Oreg\u00f3n para ver de primera mano qu\u00e9 tan bien funciona nuestra ley contra la discriminaci\u00f3n. ENDA cambiar\u00eda eso al crear una ley federal contra la discriminaci\u00f3n similar a las que ya existen por motivos de sexo, religi\u00f3n y origen nacional. El Senador Merkley lider\u00f3 la lucha para aprobar una versi\u00f3n estatal de ENDA cuando era el Presidente de la C\u00e1mara en Oreg\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El Senado vot\u00f3 64-32 el jueves para aprobar la Ley de No Discriminaci\u00f3n en el Empleo.
