La discriminaci\u00f3n es sencillamente incorrecta. Todos deber\u00edan tener la libertad de trabajar duro y ganarse la vida. Me complace que el Senado de los Estados Unidos considere esta cuesti\u00f3n fundamental de la igualdad ante la ley\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>La Ley de No Discriminaci\u00f3n en el Empleo de 2013 prohibir\u00eda a los empleadores despedir, negarse a contratar o discriminar a quienes est\u00e1n empleados o buscan empleo, sobre la base de su orientaci\u00f3n sexual o identidad de g\u00e9nero percibida o real. Estas protecciones ya existen y proh\u00edben la discriminaci\u00f3n por motivos de raza, religi\u00f3n, g\u00e9nero, origen nacional, edad y discapacidad. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1s del 85 por ciento de las empresas Fortune 500 ya extienden protecciones en el lugar de trabajo en funci\u00f3n de la orientaci\u00f3n sexual y m\u00e1s de un tercio en funci\u00f3n de la identidad de g\u00e9nero.
