Estas transferencias de tierras son parte integral de esos objetivos en La Pine y Wallowa\u201d, <\/strong>dijo Merkley. <strong>\u201cAplaudo al Senador Wyden por guiar estos dos proyectos de ley a trav\u00e9s del Comit\u00e9 de Energ\u00eda del Senado y continuar\u00e9 trabajando con \u00e9l para asegurar la aprobaci\u00f3n del Senado\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>La Ley de Transferencia de Tierras de La Pine otorga al condado de Deschutes una transferencia de tierra de 150 acres que actualmente se encuentra bajo la jurisdicci\u00f3n de la Oficina de Administraci\u00f3n de Tierras. El condado podr\u00e1 usar esa tierra para impulsar el turismo mediante el desarrollo de terrenos de rodeo y permitir el desarrollo futuro de campos de b\u00e9isbol, parques e instalaciones recreativas.<\/p>\n<p>Se transferir\u00e1 un transporte separado de 750 acres al condado de Deschutes para que el distrito de alcantarillado lo utilice para una mejor gesti\u00f3n de las aguas residuales. La expansi\u00f3n planificada de la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales de la ciudad ha estado suspendida durante a\u00f1os debido a la falta de espacio. La propiedad BLM que se encuentra completamente dentro de los l\u00edmites de la ciudad permitir\u00e1 que esa expansi\u00f3n mitigue los sistemas s\u00e9pticos que generan niveles elevados de nitrato en el agua subterr\u00e1nea. Se entregar\u00e1 un tercer terreno, de aproximadamente 10 acres, a la Ciudad de La Pine para uso de la biblioteca o como espacios abiertos de la ciudad.<\/p>\n<p>La Ley de Transporte Compuesto del Servicio Forestal de Wallowa transfiere una Estaci\u00f3n de Guardabosques del Servicio Forestal a la ciudad de Wallowa para que se utilice como un centro cultural que reconozca la rica cultura de la comunidad.
