Pero el mundo real a veces conspira contra las mam\u00e1s trabajadoras que quieren darles lo mejor a sus hijos, ya que la mayor\u00eda de las nuevas mam\u00e1s regresan al trabajo antes de que termine ese primer a\u00f1o. Tambi\u00e9n se han demostrado numerosos beneficios para las madres, incluida una mejor mineralizaci\u00f3n \u00f3sea, un retorno m\u00e1s temprano al peso anterior al embarazo y una disminuci\u00f3n del riesgo de ciertos tipos de c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n<p>Maloney es el patrocinador principal de la Ley de Promoci\u00f3n de la Lactancia Materna en la C\u00e1mara (HR 2819) y Merkley patrocina el compa\u00f1ero del Senado (S. 1244), que incluyen la provisi\u00f3n de tiempo de descanso no remunerado para las madres que amamantan en el lugar de trabajo.
