A principios de marzo, d\u00edas antes de que comenzara la construcci\u00f3n del proyecto, el Pent\u00e1gono detuvo el proyecto citando su preocupaci\u00f3n de que las turbinas e\u00f3licas pudieran interferir con un sistema de radar de 50 a\u00f1os de antig\u00fcedad ubicado en las cercan\u00edas de Fossil, Oreg\u00f3n.
