WASHINGTON<\/strong> \u2013 El senador de Oreg\u00f3n Jeff Merkley y Ron Wyden pidieron al gobierno federal el martes asistencia \u201cinmediata y coordinada\u201d para ayudar a los agricultores de la cuenca de Klamath y al medio ambiente a hacer frente a una sequ\u00eda de \u201cmagnitud hist\u00f3rica\u201d.<\/p>\n

La s\u00faplica lleg\u00f3 en una carta conjunta a tres secretarios del gabinete cuyas agencias tienen una participaci\u00f3n directa en la regi\u00f3n devastada: Gary Locke en el Departamento de Comercio, Tom Vilsack en el Departamento de Agricultura y Ken Salazar del Departamento del Interior.<\/p>\n
