WASHINGTON<\/strong> \u2013 Los senadores de Oreg\u00f3n Ron Wyden y Jeff Merkley se unieron el mi\u00e9rcoles a un esfuerzo cada vez mayor en el Capitolio para obligar a las fuerzas armadas a poner fin a su controvertida pol\u00edtica "No preguntes, no digas" para los homosexuales, argumentando que la abolici\u00f3n de la norma trae tanto la igualdad a la Fuerzas Armadas y mejora de la seguridad nacional.<\/p>\n

Wyden fue uno de los seis senadores que participaron en una conferencia de prensa en el Capitolio para presentar formalmente una legislaci\u00f3n que eliminar\u00eda una pol\u00edtica vigente desde 1993. La pol\u00edtica permite que los homosexuales y las lesbianas sirvan en las fuerzas armadas siempre que nunca reconozcan que son homosexuales. .
