Inauguration Ticket Requests
59th Presidential Inaugural Ceremonies at the U.S Capitol
The 59th Presidential Inaugural Ceremonies will take place on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol. Visitors will gather in the nation’s capital and on the National Mall to watch the swearing-in of the President-elect and Vice President-elect.
The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) distributes tickets to Members of the 117th Congress for the ceremonies at the U.S. Capitol.
Due to the global pandemic, the ticket distribution process is being assessed. The JCCIC is committed to traditional, inclusive, and safe ceremonies and will continue to monitor the situation. This webpage will be updated as more information becomes available.
Please note that the Presidential Inauguration Committee oversees and manages tickets for all other inaugural activities, including the inaugural parade and gala events.
To submit your ticket request, please click here or click on the “Inauguration Ticket Request Form” button below. Tickets will be honored on a first-come first-served basis. The Oregon congressional delegation is working together to coordinate distribution of Inauguration tickets to ensure the maximum number of Oregonians can attend.
All tickets are ADA accessible and the event will have sign language interpreters, open captioning and audio description headsets. Please let Senator Merkley’s office know if you or any member of your group has special needs or requires additional accommodations. We will do our best to accommodate your requests.
We will provide periodic updates to ticket requests as we receive updated information from JCCIC. We will notify constituents in early January if their ticket request was fulfilled.
Please consider the following as you make your plans:
