Senator Merkley pressed Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to support Oregon and American manufacturers by continuing the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) during a Senate Appropriations hearing. The Trump Administration moved to eliminate the MEP program earlier this year.
